Francisco Bulgarelli's Bio

Originally from Costa Rica, Francisco Bulgarelli enrolled at the Conservatory Castella Arts School at the early age of nine, he continued his art studies at the University of Costa Rica. He also studied film and still photography at UCLA Extension where he graduated in 2001 with a certificate in cinematography.

Francisco has shot music videos, commercials, short films and features.

Some of his music videos include: "Death is a Flower" for the band Budhi Brown, "No le Digan" for Paco, "Hot Damn" for Iman Jarret and "Shut Me Up" for the band M.S.I. which was number 1 for several weeks on myspace.com

The short film "Broken" which he shot for director David Wendelman has screened at the NY Latino Int. Film Festival and the San Diego Latino Film Festival among others.

“I love the process of storytelling and working with the director to bring his/her vision to the screen, I consider myself a perfectionist and always strive to do my best before and during the production.”

Francisco continues to collaborate with filmmakers from many different backgrounds to bring great stories to life.
